Spencer joined Mock Trial in seventh grade and kept at it because he managed to make another student cry during an objection battle at his second tournament—he's been chasing that feeling ever since. When he's not working on Mock Trial or attempting to eliminate the phrase "I believe" from his vocabulary, he enjoys yo-yoing, playing piano, and reading romance novels meant for middle-aged women.
